Equipment Overview


This equipment is designed to test a wide range of specimens, including passenger cars, buses, lamps, motorcycles, and various vehicle components.

It accurately replicates high-pressure and steam jet cleaning conditions to assess the physical and related properties of the specimens.

Following the test, the performance of the product can be evaluated against specified standards, aiding in design optimization, performance enhancement, compliance verification, and quality control inspections.

User site requirements
  • Site Layout: The designated area for installation should measure 6m (W) × 4.5m (D) × 3m (H). Users are responsible for constructing the glass enclosure and drainage system as per specifications.

  • Waterproofing Requirements:

    • The room must have a comprehensive waterproof system.
    • The flooring should be covered with high-quality, non-slip tiles, ensuring secure fixation with bolts and offering waterproof and anti-seepage protection.
    • The walls and ceiling must also be waterproof to prevent leakage.
  • Drainage Trough Specifications:

    • A 200mm (W) × 200mm (D) drainage trough should be installed around the room.
    • The trough must be inclined at one end for efficient drainage, with the outlet depth maintained at 200mm.
    • The surface should be covered with cement boards or stainless steel plates for durability.
  • Utility Connections:

    • Users must pre-install necessary interfaces for power supply, water inlet and outlet, and gas pipelines during room construction to ensure seamless integration with the equipment.

Number of nozzles

The system is equipped with two precision nozzles strategically positioned for comprehensive coverage:

  • Top Nozzle (Vertical): Mounted at the top to spray directly onto the upper surface of the specimen.
  • Bottom Nozzle (Horizontal): Positioned at the base to target the surrounding surfaces of the specimen.

The spray trajectory follows an S-shaped path, ensuring uniform and thorough coverage. A four-way servo motor system enables precise control, facilitating 5-sided water spraying for comprehensive testing.

Test Method

(1) The top and five surfaces of the test sample are sprayed with water in turn.

(2) When the shell is tested in test a) and test b), the water temperature should be maintained at (80±5)℃.

(3) For small enclosures (maximum size ≤ 250 mm): The enclosure should be installed on the test device. Rotation speed: (5±1) r/min. Spray angle: 0°, 30°, 60°, 90°. The test time for each position is 30 seconds.

(4) For large enclosures (maximum size ≥ 250 mm): The enclosure should be installed according to the intended use. The entire outer surface of the enclosure will be sprayed. Spray direction: Spray from all directions to cover the entire surface of the enclosure. The spray angle should be as perpendicular to the spray surface as possible. The distance between the nozzle and the test sample under test conditions is (175±25) mm, at least 3 minutes.

Water spraying time

The basic reference test time is 2 minutes per square meter. The time to complete the entire track can be set. It can be set in about 500 seconds (3.96 square meters).

When setting, you can enter the dimensions according to the product's overall dimensions of length, width and height, and the system will automatically complete the test running track for orderly testing.

After the test is completed, the nozzle returns to the origin, and the device gives an audible and visual prompt.
